Management of Oestrus Cycle

Vaginoscopy

Vaginoscopy is used to assess the vaginal lining which can be correlated
to the stage of the oestrous cycle and is also a very helpful tool to use in
maiden bitches to make sure there are no anatomical abnormalities
before breeding. It can also be used sometimes to identify infections and
can be used to take samples for analysis.
